Harley Cannella is a designer and illustrator based in Philadelphia and New Jersey. She has been creating work for 10+ years and earned a degree in graphic design from Arcadia University in 2022. During her college career she has exhibited work in FALLfest Together//Apart, Son of a Thesis, Student Biennial, and the Thesis Show. She is currently a freelance artist selling her work online.

Artist Statement
Deep thought on life experience shapes us to be the people we become each and every day. Through digital illustration and design, I express my life experiences to be consumed by you. Taken into your own personal life and experiences to then be shaped by you and your own interpretations. We are creatures that feel that everything is connected to us specifically. It is true, everything is, therefore my pieces will affect each and every single person in a unique way. Through beauty of words and illustrations, we are able to connect even though we have never met.
My work is abstract in thought. I am able to convey a message that applies to many people in different ways and in no way does any person have the same experience. It is your interpretation and how I am able to see into your life.
My work is made to connect a world of people that in most ways wouldn’t be
connected otherwise.
